The first documented cases of Zebra Chip in Idaho occurred in 2011. The disease occurred again in 2012. The attached presentation reviews the experince of 2012 and provides guidelines for managing the potato psyllid (and Zebra Chip) for this coming year. This information was compiled with the assistance of Dr. Erik Wenninger and Dr. Nora Olsen of the University of Idaho.

A brief review of the 2012 trapping network is presented along with a comparison of sticky cards, vacuum trap, and leaf sample data. The efficacy of different insecticides is reviewed along with some label considerations to keep in mind when planning insecticide applications.
