Glyphosate – Terrific Tool or Terrible Toxin? – Jeff Miller Glyphosate is the most common herbicide used worldwide. It has been a terrific tool for agriculture as a broad-spectrum weed killer. Recently, trace amounts of glyphosate have been reported in common foods and in human tissues. In 2015, the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) declared glyphosate to be “probably carcinogenic” to humans. Since then, hundreds of lawsuits have been filed against Monsanto claiming that glyphosate use has caused cancer. Is glyphosate a terrible toxin? This presentation will show what the science says. |
