2026 Miller Research Potato Day and Food Drive

The 2026 Miller Research Potato Day is scheduled for Saturday, September 26, 2026. The turn-off to the field is located at 225 North and 400 East in Rupert (42.65245 N 113.58956 W). You will turn east (to the right if you are coming from the south), travel down a field road, and be directed into one of two roads bordering the area for picking potatoes. We will begin at 8:00 AM and end at 3:00 PM.
We will lift potatoes that are freely available for people to come and pick. You will need to provide your own boxes or bags. We encourage those who can to bring a non-perishable food item to donate to the Open Hearts Food Pantry operated by the Rupert United Methodist Church.
